Team G-Unit participated in the Mercer Island Rotary Half-Marathon for Colon Cancer Awareness for the third year in a row. Every year our team grows (we were the second largest team with 62 individuals signed up to run) and this year we even raised over $1000 for Colon Cancer Awareness (the second highest fund raiser). It is amazing seeing all of the team members in their team t-shirts walking and running to honor my fabulous father and his amazing fight with Stage Four Colon Cancer. It was also touching to have many people thinking of us on this day. People purchased shirts, shared Facebook messages, sent supportive texts, and were members of the Team whether they were there or not! Our family felt the love of our family, friends and colleagues and we can't wait until next year. We hope you will join us!
