Easter 2010

We headed out to the Bonney Lake community egg hunt on Satuday morning all excited. Well we took a wrong turn to avoid road constructin and ended up missing it because we got lost and were running late anyways. So when we got home we set up an egg hunt for Caden outside while the sun was still shinin. Thank goodness he had just as much fun. Blake got to sit and watch in his bunny ears...such a cute little rabbit. We think he ould fit a few carrots in those cheeks.

I also am taking all sorts of silly photos of Blake since I have learned that they get to an age where they would prefer you not to take their photos all the time. So I set up myown photo shoot for Easter with Blake and those cute bunny ears. Pat just laughed at us...but did manage to help me get a few smiles.

Saturday evening concluded with a Caden getting to color some Easter Eggs. This was the first year that he did it all by himself and didn't mak a big ole mess. At first he only wanted to decorate four with stickers because he wanted to make one for each of us. I, of course, was the one he made with crazy hair.

On Sunday morning we woke up to find the Easter Bunny had left both boys an Easter Basket full of goodies and that the Easter Bunny had filled and hid all of our plastic eggs. I thought Caden would go right to his basket, but instead he took off to collect the egss. Opening each one after he found it so he could see what treasures were inside. I think that will change onc Blake is going for them too.

Blake loves watching his brother find eggs!

Caden couldn't believe the Easter Bunny knew that he wanted The Squeakuel. He said that Daddy must have called him and when the Easter Bunny asked, "Does your kid like Alvin and the Chipmunks?" and Daddy must have answered, "Yes!"

The boys all wore blue

For Easter Brunch Grandma and Papa Peterson, Auntie Meagan and Uncle Joel all came over.

I made a sweet blueberry french toast casserole and a savory farmer's casserole. The ladies had some grapefruit and cranberry mimosas and we even got to decorate with some tulips and daffodils from our yard.

Uncle Joel got to spend time wrestling with Caden and waving with Blake

Aunti Meagan learned how to play te Leaspster with Caden and look at Easter Eggs with Blake

And Easter isn't complete without a little wrestling!
