On Monday morning we woke up in Seaside after a stormy night and a power outage and we left Seaside and headed to Grandma and Papa Ferg's house in McMinnville. It was a stormy and rainy drive, but we were excited to spend some time with family.

Caden loves to make faces and after being cooped up in a car he was ready to make many of them and love on his baby brother.

And he wouldn't stop making faces when we tried to get a photo with him and Grandma.

Blake and Papa.

Grandma got Caden a cool 25-piece puzzle for her house. He LOVES puzzles and is really good at them.

Later that day we headed to Auntie Mandy and Uncle Spike's! It was great to spend some time with them before Lyala arrives. On the ride over Blake was showing off his mouth full of teeth and Caden needed to get in on it too. I'm not used to sitting in the back seat and it was fun to spend the ride being able to hang out with my boys.

Caden loves wrestling with Unce Spike. He even gave him a wet willy this time...

The men!

Caden was drawing all sort of amazing photos for everyone. Here is Mr. Potato head and his name. I was pretty impressed.

Blake before bed!

The next day we went to this HUGE indoor play area that is down the street from their house. It was three stories tall at some points!
Caden liked running through these punching bag things. And Blake just wanted to taste everything.

At home Grandma was nice enough to pull out all her kitchen stuff and the boys turned them in to drum sets. They loved it! Caden names their band Pajama Party...keep you eye out for a single on iTunes :)

On Tuesday Pat and I got to go on a date. We went wine tasting in Carlton and to McMenamin's for dinner! It was fun to have some time for just the two of us.

Although we did get home in time to help put the boys in their matching PJ's to bed. Caden really likes to match his brother.

Caden took this photo!

We also found a new favorite toy for Blake...a basting brush! Who knew that it could be hours of enjoyment!

They LOVE each other and we LOVE them! Even when they get a little hyper and silly before bed.
