I freaked out for a moment when I thought about his first birthday being just a little over two months away. He is showing us every day that he is becoming more of a toddler and less of a baby! He loves finger foods and he can get EVERYWHERE he wants...although I wouldn't say he is crawling. If he sees something he wants it only takes him a couple of seconds to figure out how to get it. 
He loves to watch his big brother. Lately he has taken an interest in the time that Caden and Daddy spend wrestling. So we throw him in the mix every now and then and he loves it!
Trying out the swings with Caden at the park. So far he isn't sure if he loves them or not.
Caden likes to find bugs, suck them up in the bug vacuum and show them to Blake. Blake, of course, finds it all hilarious! He can't wait to go bug hunting with him.
Caden loves to color and to write his name. So we have taken that love to the streets and with the help of a little sidewalk chalk...he has a large canvas.And of course Blake LOVES to watch Caden. Sometimes he looks at him with a look of "You're crazy!"
But most of the time he is just smiling at Caden!
and staring at him. Trying to figure out how he can join in!
He is supporting himself more and more while standing, sitting up like a big boy at his brother's "desk", and loving flipping through his books.
And some nights, when Blake is lucky, his big brother "reads" to him!
