After last year's 30th birthday bash this year's birthday party for Pat was pretty low key. We had a few friend's over for a "pool" party...however with the pool a little under the weather with an algae problem, we had to settle for a baby pool and a slip n' slide. Still it was fun to have so many of Pat's friends over for a little sun, conversation and bbq.
Maile and Reid's son Finn decided he loved the robe look so much he pretty much refused to take it off. Everyone nicknamed him Hugh for the afternoon :) Here they are giving each other a high-five!
The Eilertson's brough over a really fun slip n' slide and Jake got the party started. After a few minutes of watching "Jacob," as Caden calls him, slide down Caden got the courage up to try. Grandpa Ferg had to help him down the slide, but Caden loved every minute of it. I forget about the pure childhood joy that can come in the simplest of things.
