Pat, Grandma and Papa Ferg, and Caden headed out to NW trek on Pat's actual birthday. It was great having Pat's parents in town to help us celebrate his birthday, it just doesn't happen much anymore. So to make sure that they actually got to see some sights while they were in town (and not just work on the house and babysit) they all got to enjoy the beauty of this wildlife park. When I got home from work Caden wanted to tell me all about his choo-choo train ride and how he saw lots of animals. He kept telling me about the Coyote and making a howling sound and the Salamanders. I was super impressed that he could recall all of that information but also that he could say Coyote and Salamander :)
