Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA

We decided to get out of the house on Sunday and headed about 45 minutes away to our first stop of North Bend, WA for a little outlet mall shopping and then we headed to Carnation, WA to go to Remlinger Farms. It is a great, kid-friendly place. We had a great time riding the rides, seeing the farm animals, taking a train ride around the property and exploring all of the fun things they have there. We also enjoyed the pie! The worst part of the day was that Caden threw the biggest fit either of us have ever seen, and of course it had to be in public. He really wanted to play on the train in the eating area and we really wanted him to eat lunch...I don't think either side won. The joys of parenthood.

Caden doesn't like shopping. It is just way to slow-paced and boring for him. So while Pat or I shopped the other one let Caden ride in the many (I think they had about fifteen of them) coin-operated vehicles around the outlet mall. The great thing is this was free since Caden doesn't really care if they are moving or not!

Caden in the Hay Jump

I wasn't sure what Caden would think of rides. He could have either been scared or loved them and thank goodness he loved them. He wanted to go on them more than once, especially the roller coaster!
