Pat and I got a much needed and highly relaxing mini-vacation over Martin Luther King Day weekend in January thanks to my parents and Pat's parents helping us out with the trip to San Diego, CA as a Christmas present! We walked A LOT, ate A LOT and just enjoyed the 75 degree weather. It was so perfect and couldn't have come at a better time...we had both been working hard. We can't wait to go back, but next time we will definitely bring Caden with us...he would love all of the touristy things that we didn't do :)
While we were out of town Caden stayed with Grandma and Uncle Joel for 4 nights! It was the longest that we had both been away from him and we missed him and his crazy personality so much, but we knew he was having fun and living it up at Grandma's house. Just look at the messes they allow him to make :)
