Some moments around the Ferguson house...

Dinner time takes Caden about an hour around our house and it generally ends up frustrating at least one or both of us on any given evening. But sometimes he looks super cute doing it! And yes, Caden LOVES princess soup!

Daddy makes Blake laugh really hard!

My big boy! He is such a little man lately!

This was Caden's present from Mommy and Daddy on his first birthday. We got it down from storage in the garage so Blake could start playing with it. He isn't quite ready yet...but he looks pretty adorable.

Blake's favorite toys...his brothers tool box! He takes one tool out at a time, chews on it and then puts it down. He can play for a long time with these!

Blake is starting to reach for anything and everything his brother has especially snacks and Caden's leapster. I guess we can consider this their first fight!

Like we have said, Blake is pretty close to crawling. Here is a little preview. He can get anywhere he wants in a certain radius through rolling and pivoting...but no crawling yet. Slow down little buddy! Mommy and Daddy aren't quite ready for you to move yet.

Our first trip to the park of 2010!

We are trying to take advantage of this beautiful weather with the limited time we have with our busy schedule. Caden loves some our local parks and I think Blake is going to too! Remember that you can click on the collages to make them larger!

Blake took a little time to warm-up to the swings, but once his daddy started playing with him he decided they were pretty fun!

Spring Forward...

Although Daylight Savings can throw their schedules off a wee bit...we LOVE that it isn't so dark when we get home and we can have some after work playtime. The lovely weather that we have been having is helping too. These boys could be outside all day if we let them.

Can you believe the daffodils are in full bloom already???

If Caden is around all Blake wants to do is start at him. I can never get him to look at the camera or at mommy! He loves his big bro.

Potty Training Update...

Someday Caden will be upset with me about posting this photo, but I just couldn't help it! He is so proud of himself and has been doing really great going potty! We have pretty much abandoned diapers and use underwear or pull-ups. It is still a few steps forward a few steps back...but we are almost there! Finally....

A Late Night Fender Bender...

I got home from Oregon on Sunday as Pat, his friend Joe, my brother Joel and my dad headed to a concert in Seattle. At 1:00am the phone rang and Pat let me know that he had been in a car accident. Him and Joe were okay, the other guy in the other car was okay but his truck had seen better days. It wasn't Pat's fault and the other guy was insured so all in all it could have been a thousand times worse, but car accidents are a pain in the neck (literally and figuratively)!

We will get the truck back on Monday...but here is what it looked like on Monday morning!

Mandy's Baby Shower!!!

I made the trip down to Oregon on Friday, March 5 without the boys so that Susan, Morgan and I could throw Mandy and Lyala a baby shower! It was great to spend the weekend with such a great group of ladies (my mom and sister even came down)!!! Mandy has fantastic friends and family who totally showered her and our little neice with all sorts of cute things.

Mandy looks amazing for only having about 6 weeks left. She is just glowing and beautiful and the cutest pregnant lady I have ever seen. Lyala's nursery is also adorable. Spike and Mandy have done such great work and now we just have to wait for the little lady to arrive.

Mandy, Morgan and I

My sister and my mom came down and even spent the night at the Ferg's new place in McMinnville with me. It was so great to have them there because we have all really become like one big family.

So I spent a lot of time on the decor (Morgan had invites and making those adorable froggies. Plus she scored those beautiful white tulips and Susan was all over the food and drinks...which were super yummy)! I was really proud with the way my vision translated into reality! Here is a taste:

8 Month Old - we can't believe it!

Blake Andrew Ferguson -- what can we say!

At 8 Months Old he is **this** close to crawling, he is eating solid foods that don't come out of a baby jar, he is clapping and waving, he is saying dada all the time and he is still in love with his big brother Caden and our puppy Amber. They both make him laugh just by looking at him. He enjoys his jumperoo and rolling around on the floor and he loves opening and closing things like his play cellphone and his play laptop...yep...he is pretty high-tech. He hates his nebulizer treatment that we have to give him to help with his coughing and breathing. Caden and I sing silly songs and do silly dances to keep him distracted and from crying too hard. He is a very chill baby and I just can't wait for what his future holds....his eyes and his cheeks make my day!


He LOVES bathtime...I think because it is time he gets to spend with his daddy and his brother!

Getting his treatment!

Crawling is VERY frustrating! There is something adorable and cute about this photo...no babies were harmed in the photo process.

Look at how cute his little teeth are! He also has his top two teeth and is this close to crawling. Our baby is turning into such a big boy.

Blake LOVES Caden's toys. He especially loves this race track Caden got from Nana. He just watches the cars go round and round and trys to grab them. Caden likes to say "no no Blake. Cars don't go in your mouth!"

Caden and I play a lot of games. The only one we finish is Candyland. Other games, like this one,
he just doesn't like to lose.
