Blake Rolls Over!

What we do during the day!

Besides running errands, going shopping, playdates, getting coffee, taking naps, eating and watching TV we also have fun taking photos. I realized I have hardly any photos of me with Blake, so I did my best to take some :) He is just SO cute...it is nice having two good looking sons!

I also had to take a picture to show-off his amazing strength!

Daddy's Boys!

It wouldn't be an NFL game in the house without Caden and Blake wearing Bears or Seahawks gear. Pat is getting them started early in rooting on his favorite teams.

Although Blake and Caden will rock their Husky gear too :)

Baby Playdates!

Blake and I have gotten connected with a lovely group of other moms and babies and we are trying to fit in some playdates with them before I head back to work in a few weeks. It is great to chat about motherhood and I have truly enjoyed my time with them.

On 9/23 we headed over one of the mom's houses to meet (from left to right) Lila, Cooper, Collin, and Holden (Max was there too, but he was busy eating). There were a lot of boys born around the same time, but the beautiful Lila fits right in.

On 9/18 we headed over to Michelle's house (Lila's mom) and got to meet Lila and Xavier for the first time. I think Blake likes all of his new friends and hopefully we can stay connected even when I am back at work.

Do The Puyallup!

On Monday we went to the Puyallup Fair. This was the first year that Caden was tall enough to ride all of the rides in Sillyville. He was so excited and wanted to ride on all of them. He was a little timid, and for the most part wouldn't let go of any of the handles, but he LOVED every second of it!

His favorite rides were the rocket ships (above) and the helicopters (below). Caden loves to give us a thumbs up and he waved to us a lot from his helicopter!

Pat got to go on a few rides with Caden. Next year I won't be carrying Blake in the Bjorn so I will get to go on some rides too!

Trips to the Doctor!

Both boys had doctor appointments yesterday. Caden for his 3-year and Blake for his 2-month. Both are doing really well and we only have a few things to work on! Caden only got his flu shot and the nurse was so great he didn't even know what hit him. Blake got 3 shots and he did know what hit him...poor guy!

Caden's Stats:
Weight -- 35 pounds, 3 ounces (50th-75th percentile)
Height -- 38 1/2 inches (75th percentile)

Blake's Stats:
Weight -- 14 pounds (90th percentile)
Height -- 22 5/8 inches (50th percentile)

9-9-09 = Blake is 2 Months old!

I can't believe it has already been 2 months! Time has truly flown by. I couldn't pick just one photo from the group so I put a few up! Blake was feeling the camera today :)

So what's new with Blake. His sleeping is getting worse, not better, which is making me nervous to go back to work without my morning sleep, he seems to LOVE the bottle, he loves to smile at all of his friends and family, and he has started to like taking baths (especially with his big brother Caden). He is still constantly making noises, although the grunts have become little coo's and they are so cute. Now that Pat is back to work and Caden is back at daycare Blake and I are trying to get up and out of the house...lots of errands to run and people to visit!

Touch-A-Truck

The city of Bonney Lake has some great free summer activities for kids and the one that we wait for every summer is Touch-a-Truck! They bring out all sorts of vehicles and kids can climb all over them and talk with the people who drive them. This year they had a SWAT vehicle, two police cars, a police motorcycle, a tractor, a bulldozer, a dump truck and a few others! At first Caden was his usual scaredy cat self, but then he warmed up!
