Naughty or Nice!?!

We live in a small town in Washington and we are lucky to have a great photographer in town, Stacy Jacobsen Photography. Every year she sets up at Windmill Gardens in Sumner, WA and does Santa photos. It is so wonderful to not have to wait in line ever since we get to sign up for our time slot, to know that we will get a high quality photo, have access to our original files and get a few more than just the one Santa photo.

Caden wasn't really looking forward to seeing Santa, but he knew he had to do it. Why you ask? Well a few weeks ago he told me that he really needed to try to talk to Santa this year. When I asked him why he let me know that it was because he didn't get what he wanted last year. He told me that it was his fault since all he did was scream at Santa instead of telling him what he wanted. So this year he said he would make him a letter to show him what he wanted since he wasn't sure if he could talk to him and he did not want to sit on him!

Well when we got there Caden was a little nervous and Blake seemed fine. We took their individual photos and then Santa came to take his seat. Caden handed him the letter he made and even told Santa all about it. He was nervous, but at the end Santa and Caden were telling secrets and he was giving him a high five. Blake on the other hand will have to try again next year. He didn't want anything to do with the man in the red suit.

I took some photos of the boys on the way out! They were both enjoying their post-Santa candy cane!
