We try to do family photos once a year. That is usually all we have time for or are able to afford a year...photography can be expensive (although well worth it!) I am a fan of location photography using natural light and most of the time I look for a photographer that is local that likes the same things. This year I bought a photography package at an auction for the EEU, the wonderful school my best friend Jen works for, with the amazing J.Shelton Photography! I have gotten to know Justine through a mom's group that I am a part of so I knew I loved her as a person, but I have also admired her family and kid photography from afar! I was so happy when it was finally our turn to hang out for some family photos.
We had a lot of rain that morning, but we found nooks all around the UW Tacoma campus, the Washington State History Museum and Union Station. I think the photos turned out great and I can't wait to put them up all over our house.
