Yipee...a little time on his scooter!

Such a happy guy when he gets to play outside. The weather was great last weekend and all he wanted to do was take a couple of spins on his scooter.

Although having two can sometimes make us feel a little bit flustered and a lot bit busy...we wouldn't have it any other way! Especially in moments like these...

Three Year Olds Say the Best Stuff!

Caden has been full of lovely quotes lately. I need to do a better job of keeping track of these gems to embarass him or brag about him later in life!


Some notable ones from this week:


"I think Blake is dissapointed in me"

I told him, "Look Caden your brother is trying to crawl!" and he responded, "Woo Hoo Blake, push up that big booty!"


I was cleaning up the kitchen when Caden yells, "Mommy, Blake is licking my balls! Make him stop!" I started laughing so hard and he says, "stop laughing...this is SERIOUS!" Caden wasn't amused with Blake playing with his Gator Golf balls and sticking them in his mouth.

I had to capture Blake and the infamous balls!

Just a few milestones...

Blake has been zooming right ahead...learning and devloping everyday. He started clapping about a week and a half ago, he loves to blow raspberries, and he is starting to say what sounds like hi and dada. He is pretty close to waving bye-bye too! Here he is putting on a show for Caden and I:

7 Months Old!!!!

It is crazy for us to think that Blake has been in our lives for 7 Months. He is an unbelievable baby who brings such joy to Pat, Caden and I everyday. He is still pretty easy-going...quick to laugh and give a smile. Although we are seeing signs of a temper if you take away a toy or an item of food....he will let you know about it. He LOVES amber and attempts to grab her and pet her whenever she comes near. Good thing she loves him!

He is getting a lot more curious and independent. We are enjoying this stage of his development so much!

Blake LOVES food!

Blake has gone through all of the Stage 1 and Stage 2 foods and has even ventured into a few finger foods (puffs, mandarin oranges, peas, mum mums and biter biscuits). He loves them all. I really can't think of any of them he has rejected and he likes the food shoveled into his mouth at a very quick rate.

Look Mom and Dad I can use one of these things.

SURPRISE! A trip to Oregon to celebrate Papa Ferg

Papa Ferg turned 60 on January 31st and since him and Grandma Ferg had recently moved to McMinnville, OR we decided it was the perfect time to pay him a surprise visit. It was great to pull up to their house and see that he had no idea we would be there to celebrate with him. Their house is great and we can't wait to make more memories there!
