Superhero Birthday Party -- The Action

The whole Ferguson Family decided to dress up for this Superhero bash. Including Amber above and Caden below, with his super cool personalized birthday boy cape and gear!

Blake wanted to participate too! Although he slept through most of the festivities he was dressed and ready to party!

Superhero Birthday Party -- The Decorations

Caden doesn't turn 3 until September 3rd, but we threw him a Superhero Birthday Party on Saturday, August 29th. All of these photos just show off the decorations that I worked so hard on. We really wanted to make this birthday special to reward him for adjusting so well to our transition to a family of four! He deserved a very special day.

We bought him a small bouncy house! It was a hit at the party and hopefully something we get a lot of use out of in many summers to come.

It wouldn't be a superhero party without masks and capes. I copied this idea from another mom, but it turned out great. All of the kids got to create their very own, personalized gear to take home.

Blake is starting to like bathtime more and lately we have been throwing him in with Caden. He just loves to stare at his big brother and Caden just loves having him in the bathtub with him.

One last summer outing to the zoo

Pat and Caden took one last outing before Caden went back to daycare and Pat went back to work. They went to the Point Defiance Zoo with our friend Reid and his son Finn. When they got home I asked Caden what his favorite part of the zoo was and he said "Finn!" My son loves his friends so much.

The Boys Before Bedtime
