So life with two kids instead of one is an adjustment. I am so thankful that Pat is off for the summer and we are handling this transition together. Having him home this time has allowed me to get way more sleep, take more showers and just spend more quality time with both boys than I would be able to on my own. Caden is a great big brother. Although we have had our moments of jealousy and acting out he is constantly showing us how much he loves having "Baby Blake" in our lives. My favorite thing right now is referring to "my boys." I just love them all so much.
We took a trip to our favorite custard shop, Old School Frozen Custard. Caden loves that they give out free kid's cones and Blake slept through it :)
Here's Blake all suited up for his first pool party to celebrate Pat's Birthday. It was nice having all of Pat's friends over to meet Blake and hang out by the pool.
Blake doesn't like the bath. He really just doesn't like being naked at all because he also hates getting his diaper changed. This is how he shows us he doesn't like it! Below you will see the calm after the storm...post-bath warmth is so much better.
We all think that Blake is going to look like his daddy.
