We celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary a couple weekends ago. It was a fabulous weekend full of friends and family. We had a nice dinner on our back deck (complete with new cover...we will post photos soon) and got ready to head to Chelan, WA as a family.
We got to Chelan on Friday afternoon and have to thank our lovely hosts and hostesses. My great friend Mindy and her husband Chris allowed us to tag along when she went to stay with her mom and dad at the home she grew up in. Her parents live right on Chelan in an amazing house and were so accomodating to our little family.The minute we got out of the car Caden wanted to jump into their big "pool"! So we put on his shorts and jacket and he jumped in...literally!
We enjoyed many meals, games and conversation on their back deck. It was the loveliest view to spend time starting at.
Blake got some tips on staying cool from Chris.
We also spent a lot of time on their dock. We lounged and watched the boats go by. We also soaked in the sun.
We headed out on Mindy and Chris' boat on Saturday and took a photo of their amazing home.
The boys really enjoyed their boat ride. It was a first for Blake.
Caden hung out with the ladies on the back of the boat.
That evening was August 7, 2010. Our official anniversary. So we headed out to a Tsillian Cellars, a lovely winery down the street. Caden loved watching the Koi and playing with the children who were there. Blake liked having a picnic on the lawn while we tried some wine.
He also got to bond with his daddy!

We wouldn't have had such an amazing summer weekend or anniversary if it weren't for Gary and Linda and Mindy and Chris! Thanks again for everything!
