Merry (Belated) Christmas!

Alright, Alright...so I am a little behind. I take most of the blame, but I also would like to put some fault on technical difficulties :)
So a belated Merry Christmas from The Ferguson's! We greatly enjoyed our time with friends and family over the holiday's and with the crazy weather Pat and I got much more time off than we thought we would.
On Christmas Eve we went to The Peterson's and spent some time eating dinner, opening presents and hanging out with Santa. I wish that I had a scanner so that I could show you what our first Santa photo of the season looked like, but basically Caden is deathly afraid of the jolly man in the red suit. So when we took him to the Supermall one morning he proceeded to cry and look incredibly frightened and yes, we got it on film. Based on tradition of Christmas Eve growing up Santa would always stop by and this evening proved no different. Pat and I were worried about what Caden would do.

When Santa first came downstairs he clung to anyone and everyone who would let him and closed his eyes so he didn't have to look at him. So we let Santa distribute gifts to Uncle Joel, Aunt Meagan and Mommy and by that time Caden wanted to know where his present was. So he got up the courage and sat next to Santa to open his present. After receiving a bowling set he did give Santa a very tentative hug...so maybe we will have better luck next year :)

Christmas morning was so great this year because Caden really was excited to see what Santa had brought him. He dived right into his pile of presents and his Christmas stocking. It was nice to share these moments with Grandma and Grandpa Ferg and Auntie Mandy and Uncle Spike.

Caden even got a letter from Santa...it let him know that he was a good boy this year, but warned him against hitting and biting.

The Diego Scooter he got from Santa!

Fun times with Auntie Meagan! It was great having her home from London.

Fun times with Uncle Spike building snow castles.
