Memorial Day Weekend - A trip to meet Lyala!

This is going to be a long blog post...full of photos (yes...I know...I take too many and can't narrow them down)!
We headed down to Oregon on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend so that the boys could finally meet their cousin Lyala and so that we could hang out with Grandma and Papa Ferg and Auntie Mandy and Uncle Spike. The weather was hit or miss, but the company was perfect!
The boys were so interested in little Lyala. Caden kept commenting on how tiny or cute she was and Blake just wanted to grab her face with his big hands.

I haven't held a non-moving/wiggly baby in awhile. She was so sweet and alert.

She's got big eyes and petite/feminine features. She is a beautiful little girl!

I couldn't stop taking photos of her cute little face!

Auntie Mandy seems to be taking to Motherhood pretty naturally. Lyala knows and loves her mom so much!

Grandma and her boys! Blake doesn't know what to think of those two silly people!

Caden had to try it! Blake didn't like it! Sometimes they don't get along and sometimes they do.

We headed to the Evergreen Air & Space Museum on Sunday. They have the most amazing playground on their grounds that is free to the public. It was really well designed and included this huge rocket ship that was like 3-4 stories tall. Caden and Blake seemed to enjoy it.

We decided we didn't have enough time to truly appreciate the museum so we just checked out all the plans on the grounds around the museum. They are currently building a giant indoor water park and put a big plane on top of the building. Caden can't wait to go back when it opens!
Then we headed back home, but we decided to make a detour to check out another amazing park in McMinnville. There was a big sand box and a ton of unique toys to play on.

Even the big kids got in on the action.

Seeing Uncle Spike is always the highlight of the trip for the boys!

And seeing Auntie Mandy is great too! Caden can even get her to try to draw Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Grandma got some good, old-fasioned blocks at the Thrift Store in town and the boys loved them!

Visiting with the FurCousins -- Sage and Oscar

Caden had to do a mini-acting session to impress his family

And even Addie, Morgan and Austin's daughter, stopped by for a visit!
