First there is love! Yes, our boys love each other and we hope it will last :) Caden always says things like, "I love you Blakey Boy!" and "You're my best friend!" when Blake is around. Blake just lights up the minute he sees his brother. He enjoys watching and learning from his every move. It is pure joy for Pat and I to watch them grow together as brothers.
I even said the other night, "I am so glad we have two!" It's funny to think that when we decided to try for Blake I was nervous. I kept thinking things like, "Is Caden going to feel left out?", "Will Caden and my relationship change or will we grow apart?", "Will I be able to love them both the same?" and "Will we be able to handle it?" Now I laugh when I think of my nervousness cause I can't imagine life any other way! They are both the center of my being and make me feel amazing and full of love!

Blake loves to play Peek-a-Boo and he just learned how to do it with his bucket that holds his blocksBut then...there is heartache. There are moments of jealousy and moments of anger. They fight over toys and at times, Caden just wants to be left alone. They get through it and we see that it is just a part of being brothers. These moments are just as special in the development of their relationship.
