Happy 30th Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated Pat's birthday a little early...he doesn't actually turn 30 until Saturday, July 21. But we had a great bbq celebration with family and friends before we leave to go to Idaho for a Hogue Family Reunion.
Yes, I made my husband a cake in the shape of a beer mug...it wasn't as easy as I thought, but it turned out well for being homemade. Funfetti cake is always a hit :)
I thought 30 candles would be a little much...just teasing.

This is the face Caden made after we gave him a small piece of cake...we are glad we got it on film because he makes this face a lot with new foods, but by the second bite he is usually happy with whatever we stick in his mouth.

Caden LOVED opening presents with his dad. Look out! His first birthday is just around the corner. He thought all of the attention was for him and he would just clap, laugh and scream with delight. He was especially mesmerized by the shamrock wind catcher below.

He got so much attention. You would think the party was for him. Jen gave him a taste of her pasta and he never left her side until she didn't have anymore to give him.

Auntie Meagan and Uncle Joel kept Caden happy!

It's the Grandpa's!
